In 2018, Bavaria merged with the Blue Stars, Gibraltar’s oldest basketball club founded in 1962. The Bavaria Blue Stars now consist of boys and girls junior teams from the age of 12 to 18, as well as senior men’s and women’s teams competing in the GABBA leagues.

Our senior Futsal team was formed in 2016, starting in the GFA 4th Division, now consistently competing in the Premier Division. Having won various promotions and league cups, we are proud to boast a squad of fully homegrown, Gibraltarian players.

The Hawks Hockey Club was originally formed in 1989, playing their first European club competition in 1996, and as recently as 2016. In 2019, the Hawks completed a merger with Bavaria. We currently boast the largest youth girls section in Gibraltar and this is mainly down to the dedication and devotion shown by our longstanding volunteer coaches.
