Who we are

Bavaria is a multi-sports club based in Gibraltar. Founded by childhood friends Tim Azopardi and Jamie Bosio in 2008, the club has seen a steady transition from a social summer Cricket team, to an established sports club with various teams competing in Basketball, Futsal, Netball, Hockey, Volleyball and Squash leagues on the Rock. Our 7 different sports, and 26 teams ranging from junior to senior men and women, show a commitment to develop pathways across age groups.

Our belief is that through sport we can inspire our 350 members to grow their social conscience and engage with their community in a deeper and more meaningful way. Our club motto, ‘Totus Tuus’, which translates from Latin to ‘Completely Yours’, reminds us to always give fully of ourselves and the community that supports us.
